The following are various pictures Philip's created dating back to 1994, when he was just starting out. There's very few things here, since they're really all that he felt were -worth- showing, since this is the first time people and devices are somewhat recognizeable. :)
File Size: 66 KB
Done in: 2H and 4H pencil
Long: A sketch of Aeri based on a pic in a Newtype I have, with her right arm outstreched in victory. The emblem on the left of her shirt is the Terrapin Corps emblem, a scowling turtle (minus the circular border around it and the MD flag field behind it)
File Size: 54 k
Done in: Felt Tip and Design 2
Long: Philip and Aerianne, on their two Customized Cyclone mechas. Aeri's on a VR-261-S SuperAngel, and Philip's on a VR-292 Omni.
File Size: 56 k
Done in: Pencil, Xerox, and Design2 marker
Long: Here's a sketch of Aerianne Connor as an Angel, which I drew before 1994's Christmas Break. I later expanded it to my first drawing on bristol, which was later scanned and colored.
File Size: 16 k
Done in: Pencil
Long: I did these sketches of Aeriangel, and the spread of her wings, while watching a performance of _Leonce and Lena_ (don't ask). They're small, but give a good idea of her wingspan, in relation to her body.
File Size: 86 k
Done in: Pencil, Xerox, Design2 marker, and LaserPrinted text.
Long: The Akagiyama-23-S "Super" female battlearmor, as modeled by Aerianne Connor, who was one of chief proponents of the design. More info can be found on the image itself. This was also my first attempt at doing a simple text-oriented pasteup layout.
File Size: 108 k
Done in: Felt Tip, Design2, and Gouache
Long: Megazone and Yuri (of Undocumented Features fame), posed in front of Zoner's pride and joy, the Daytona From Hell. Gryphon says that Zoner's expression isn't quite right, but I digress. Unfortuately, at the time I drew this, I had yet to see a Dodge Daytona ES Turbo, so I drew a stock Dodge Daytona instead. (Since then, I have seen several, and a revised version of this pic can be found in 1995).
File Size: 153 k
Done in:Ink and Design2 marker, construction paper and acrylic
Long: Here is a drawing of Katie Tanner (Temper), Chris Meadows (Mako) and the Constellation, the Ultra Valkyrie they co-inhabit (LONG story ;). Their adventures are chronicled in "The Universe According To Chris", a sub-series of Undocumented Features.
File Size: 128 k
Done in: Ink and Design2 marker
Long: Here, for your perusal, is a drawing of Kilroy the Thundergod (from Undocumented Features, of course), docked to a Salusuian Raptor starfighter. This is most likely the -ONLY- cool pose that Thundergod One can appear in. All other angles would look silly. :)
