1997 is proving to be an interesting year. Now that I've gotten Adobe Photoshop, I've found that there's a lot of keen things that I can do when coloring my images. I've also found out that said images take a lot of -space- on my hard drive, so I've had to be careful. But, fortunately, the pictures that are colored turn out to be worth it. :)

Long: Yet another picture of Aerianne the Police Commisioner, however in this image she's wearing the uniform of an AMP officer (her magical skills have come in handy on several of their cases).
File Size: 142 k

Long: A picture of Arisa and her elder brother, Derek, standing atop a rocky promentory, backlit by the glowing full moon. I used Photoshop's layers to make the indivdual portions of the image stand out more.

Long: Kallisti's pitchfork-like emblem, lit in flames.

Long: Derek and Arisa, this time in cute superdeformed form! Both are wearing their everyday biker threads.

Long: Alice "Momentum" Barnes, one of *THE* Mason Kramer's characters from Superguy, caught in mid-run by an extremely fast camera. *wg*
File Size: 74 k
Done in: Ink and Photoshop
Long: The same as above, but this time the camera wasn't as fast. *g* This also marks the first time I really used a filter and layers to good effect.
File Size: 118 k
Done in: Ink and Photoshop
Long: Ariel Burns Winde, one of Eric A. "Sabre" Burns's Superguy characters, surrounded by technological devices under her control. Being a shamanistic technomancer, she has powers over the spirits inherent in all technological devices.
File Size: 184 k
Done in: Ink and Photoshop
Long: The same as above, but this time with Ariel's trademarked lightning effects flowing over her and her devices.
File Size: 170 k
Done in: Ink and Design2 marker
Long: Derek, Arisa, and their friend Hendrix Marie Wayne-Jones (one of Amy "General Chaos" Borden's Superguy characters) sitting atop Hendrix's Minion's couch, which has abilities far and beyond those of normal couches. *g*

Long: Aerianne wearing an impromptu "K3" Katsucon 3 tee-shirt.
File Size: 95 k
Done in: pencil
Long: Arisa, kitted up, heavily armed, and ready for anything! *g*
File Size: 153 k
Done in: Ink and Photoshop
Long: Noriko Takaya from Gunbuster, clad in a fantasy costume. She may be LARPing, she may be involved in a show, or she may have just come out of a holodeck sim... but you can be sure no matter what, she's gonna kick butt. Also, quite frankly, one of the *best* pictures I've ever done in Photoshop so far. Kawaiiiiii! *_*
File Size: 127 k

Long: Ken-oh-ki, one of the characters from the Tenchi Muyo TV series, has the ability to turn into a starship much like Ryo-oh-ki can. This is his shipform, drawn for practice.
File Size: 155 k

Long: Arisa and Aerianne, suited up and ready to take on the dark side of the Shaolin Empire.
File Size: 160 k
Done in: Ink and Photoshop
Long: The same as above, but this time with some extra-spiffy lighting effects added.
File Size: 153 k
Done in: Ink and Photoshop
Long: Arisa's a Modern Succubus indeed -- ready and willing to learn anything that can help her in her fight against lies, injustice, and the corrupt way of life. However, she's not one to forget her heritage, either, so she tries to find some sort of balance between the two.
File Size: 133 k
Done in: Ink and Photoshop
Long: As an expression of the above tenets, Derek and Arisa were fighter pilots in the Terrapin Corps for a time, working their way up the ranks until they were in charge of their own VF-19 squadron. This picture is from those more halcyon days.
File Size: 133 k
Done in: Ink and Photoshop
Long: The same as above, but this time with the Terrapin Corps emblem set behind them.
File Size: 184 k
Done in: Pencil
Long: Depicted here is the Hellstorm Powered Armor system, designed by Kallisti for her own personal force's use. The version shown here is the Mark II model (the Mark III was the first official "Production" model), and shows off the revolutionary mimetic pollyaloy "liquid metal" which serves as the armor's manipulators and primary aramament.

Long: Eiko Rose, in the female uniform of Thunder Force during the Exile, kicking butt via the best way she knows how -- weilding Storm-Breaker the Mallet, mowing down anything in her path.
File Size: 94 k
Done in: Ink and Photoshop
Long: The above, with several blur filters to help enhance the speed effect. However, it doesn't seem to have worked as well as it could have. Ohwell. *Shrug*
File Size: 217 k
Done in: Ink and Photoshop
Long: Another attempt to do use layers to add a speedline effect behind Eiko. This one turned out MUCH better than expected, and several people have told me so. *g*
File Size: 215 k
Done in: Ink and Photoshop
Long: Depicted here is the Hellstorm Mark V, a more advanced version of the Hellstorm series of power armors, and the first of its line that is truly flight-capable. The weapons systems have also been streamlined and upgraded, but are no less powerful than their predecessors.
File Size: 209 k
Done in: Ink and Photoshop
Long: The same drawing as above, but this time with a lens flare centered on the right arm's blade. This was my first attempt to add such an effect, and I later learned there were some easier ways of doing it. *Sigh* Live 'n learn....
File Size: 209 k
Done in: Ink and Photoshop
Long: The same drawing as the last two, but this time with the Hellstorm V standing within a field of fire. I like the way I was able to get the flames to reflect off the armor panels. *g*
File Size: 51 k
Done in: Pencil
Long: Ayanami Rei, from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Just wanted to see if I could draw her and catch the essance of 'Rei-ness' in this pic, and I think that I've succeeded. *wg* What do you think?
File Size: 175 k
Done in: Ink and Photoshop
Long: Super-deformed Aerianne and super-deformed Noriko, both with angel-wings attached (though, Noriko's had to go and get some Lee Strap-On Wings since she doesn't have them naturally, like Goddess-Aeri does. ;).
File Size: 95 k
