Long: Some days, the Orks from Warhammer 40,000 can get to be a little too hard to handle... so of course, you need to call soembody who can deal with them.

Long: The Rose Duelling Arena soars above the clouds of Amber, its stairway fading into the distance, as the sunlight highlights the last steps of the arena and the large rose mosaic that makes up the majority of its surface. Long: Miki, Prince of Amber, musician and trump artist, sits at his writing desk in the middle of his musical conservatory in Castle Amber, working on his next performance piece and timing the minutes as they go by. A blue rose sits within a vase, and his rapier rests against his desk. His sigil is a stylized royal blue rose.
Long: Tylor of Amber, admiral of Amber's navies, standing and saluting (or shading his eyes) something offscreen while holding a flute of champaign in his left hand and blissfully unaware of the rope that's looped around his right foot. His sigil is a golden ship atop a steady sea and a clear sky, flanked by two anchors.
Long: Yuriko, one of the surviving children of Queen Moire of Rebma, clad in Rebman Naval Wear of blue and green trimmed with silver, saluting someone to the right. Her emblem is a blue dolphin leaping towards a silver star.
Long: King Gendo of Amber, sitting in the great mahogany throne of Amber atop the dias at one end of the Great Hall of Castle Amber, a large flag with the white unicorn rampant on a green field hanging behind him. The seven-pointed silver crown of Amber rests atop his brow, and he regards the viewer with a penetrating gaze behind his tinted glasses. The Patternblade 'Justice' rests against the chair on Gendo's left side, and a marionette that looks suspiciously like Touga hangs off the right arm of the throne. His symbol, of course, as well as that of Amber, is the white unicorn on a green field.
Long: Tylor of Amber, standing atop the dias in the Great Hall of Castle Amber, saluting the viewer clad in his best white dress uniform, even though he wears the emblems of Amber kingship, the seven-pointed silver crown of Amber atop his head, and the Jewel of Judgement hanging around his neck. As king, his symbol is now the White Unicorn.
Long: Ramon, son of Nanami and Prince of Amber, resident Tough Guy for his generation, trainer of Kanna, and friend of Shaft. He stands smiling, clad in yellow top and black pants. His emblem, although it is hard to see, is the Tarot Card for 'strength'.
Long: "Professor" Fuyutsuki, drawer of the Primal Pattern, resident sage, complete and utter loon. He's shown within his labs deep in the heart of Castle Amber, wearing the PatternFez and playing with two of his favorite puppets -- which happen to resemble the Unicorn and the Serpent. A wide variety of interesting reading material, as well as toys, are spread out on the bookshelves behind him. His sigil is the white unicorn, Rampant.
Long: Makoto, resident prankster and prince of Amber, shown running across the ramparts as a result of one of his practical jokes gone awry chases after him. This was the LAST of the TAMD elders that I needed to draw, hooray! ^_^ His emblem is the white unicorn.
Long: Michelle, daughter of Saionji, playing the violin in the music conservatory of Castle Amber. Her emblem is a violin set over a sea-green rose.
Long: Travis Butler, Royal Librarian of Castle Amber, sits behind his desk in the middle of the bookshelves of the royal library itself. His desk is piled with several items of the Librarian's craft, including a cup of hot beverage and his faithful cat companion, Snickers. His emblem is, of course, an open book.
Long: The Royal Library of Castle Amber, sunlight streaming through the side windows to illuminate the castle's stacks, the accumulated knowledge of Amber's history. A large pennant of the White Unicorn hangs on the far wall between bookshelf aisles.
Long: The updated and improved Rose Duel Arena render, soaring above the clouds.
Long: Yumi, the arbiter of etiquette for the court of Amber, sits within her quarters in the castle at night, taking notes on yet another interesting scholarly work from her collection. Her emblem is a blue heart superimposed over a four-pointed star. Click here for a version that is more appropriately lit.
Long: Corrine and Juri of Amber, taking a morning stroll through the forested mountains.
Long: Anno, the lord of House Gainax and Keeper of the Logrus, depicted as Corrine first saw him -- a tall, dark-skinned, sad-faced man clad all in black and in a black office, painting the destruction of Tokyo. His sigil, of course, is the ever-changing Sign of the Logrus.
Long: Corrine, Princess of Amber, clad in a forest-green riding cloak, ready for patrolling the Forest of Arden which is her protectorate.
Long: Dowager Queen Anthy, taking a moonlit stroll through a verdant field, as the clouds and fey lights hover in the skies above her around the full moon.

Long: A 'Shadow House' is a particular sort of garden building often found in more baroque sites. Built of stone and wood, they are open-air, and much sturdier than gazebos. The castle gardens has a Shadow House at one corner, marking the border between the lawn next to the bishop's residence and the rose and herb gardens. It is here that Miki and Juri have decided to sit and relax, shadowed and cooled by the fresh breezes of the interior. Who knows what Miki is writing or drawing in his notebook?
Long: Utena and Anthy take the time to enjoy some pink roses in the castle gardens. Beneath the roses bushes, Bishop Chu-Chu stands watch.
