Long: The Rose Duelling Arena soars above the clouds of Amber, its stairway fading into the distance, as the sunlight highlights the last steps of the arena and the large rose mosaic that makes up the majority of its surface. The seven-pointed silver crown of Amber rests atop his brow, and he regards the viewer with a penetrating gaze behind his tinted glasses. The Patternblade 'Justice' rests against the chair on Gendo's left side, and a marionette that looks suspiciously like Touga hangs off the right arm of the throne. His symbol, of course, as well as that of Amber, is the white unicorn on a green field.

Long: A 'Shadow House' is a particular sort of garden building often found in more baroque sites. Built of stone and wood, they are open-air, and much sturdier than gazebos. The castle gardens has a Shadow House at one corner, marking the border between the lawn next to the bishop's residence and the rose and herb gardens. It is here that Miki and Juri have decided to sit and relax, shadowed and cooled by the fresh breezes of the interior. Who knows what Miki is writing or drawing in his notebook?
Long: Utena and Anthy take the time to enjoy some pink roses in the castle gardens. Beneath the roses bushes, Bishop Chu-Chu stands watch.
