the initial mission statement

there are those people who will tell you that since arriving at college, i've begun running with a "bad" crowd. by this, these people would assume that the part of the population that sports body art are the undersirables of the community. i have a different opinion.

i say that i have found a different form of expression - one that allows me to enjoy my body more than i ever have in the past, one that will always remind me of who i am and where i came from. i have not yet regretted a single modification that i have made to my body and i foresee many more changes to come in the future.

now, i know that i can't speak for everyone i have pictures of, much less the entire tattooed population of the world. but if the people on my site have so chosen, there is a personal statement of their own attached. make what you will of it. we are not social outcasts, we are not the unclean of today's society. we are well spoken, we are intelligent and we will not be marginalized by the choices we have made about our bodies.
