Selected Brief Updates: Series: Ranma 1/2 Author: Takahashi Rumiko Ranma 1/2 has ended! In a nutshell, Ranma saves Akane. Saffron is rehatched as a baby princeling. The Jyusenkyou waters flood back. Back in Japan, Ranma and Akane are nearly married, but due to complications from a barrel of Jyusenkyou water and wedding invitations sent to the wrong people, things pretty much degenerate... Looks like everything is back to normal! Series: Me Gumi no Daigo Author: Soda Masahito Following the incident with the tiger, Daigo, the young fireman, has become an instant celebrity, though his reputation is not positive. The press thinks he made poor judgments. Kondou, a young woman from his old high school, who had been deeply impressed with him (and now half-worships him), tries to reassure him, but he doesn't need it. When she jokes, "I'd like to be rescued by you sometime," he replies seriously, "In an emergency, I put my friends last." Kondou is again deeply impressed. Series: Love Author: Ishiwata Osamu Love, who had given up a sure win to have Rappa take up someone else's racket, is now pressed in a grueling duel. Love can hardly keep up with Rappa's power, but she keeps Youhei in her mind, reminding herself that he's waiting to meet her in a match. Series: Grooming Up! Author: Yuki Masami The year's first foal dies soon after birth. Overall, the Watarai farm is not doing so well. Meanwhile, Shunpei can't understand why no one seems to grieve over the foal's death, but Hibiki just replies, "You'll understand eventually." And finally, Hilda, the mare pregnant with twins, seems ready to give birth... Series: Ghost Sweeper Mikami Author: Shiina Takashi Mikami, her previous life as a demon (Mephisto), Yokoshima, and his previous life (Takashima), along with the others, face Michizane, who wants to destroy Mephisto as a "defective product." In an attempt to jump to the present time, however, only Mikami and her previous life make it. As the two argue about Mephisto's sudden crush on Takashima, a modern-day Michizane arrives at the door... Series: Ushio to Tora Author: Fujita Kazuhiro Ushio and his mother, who is valiantly trying to maintain the prison around Hakumen, watch as the monster slowly breaks free. The submarine's crew are still under the mistaken impression that destroying the rock pillar was the right thing to do, but are alarmed by the rapid approach of something from the vicinity of the pillar... Series: Major Author: Mitsuda Takuya Goro's team quickly and painfully discovers the secret behind the Honmoku Little League team: the "black triangle," three brothers who specialize in triple plays. Moreover, the strategy for the rest of the game is to pitch only balls to Goro, thus neutralizing his power homeruns.
