About hentaiFREEfree.

the point is...

hentaiFREEfree started out as a counterpoint to groups like hentaiFREE and WC-20, who are concerned with eradicating online hentai and bringing together others of like mind. To a large extent, that's still what we are; if the "H debate" is going to be had, then someone needs to argue the other side.

However, we are beginning to expand our focus. It became evident that there is only so much "hentaiFREE is bad, and here's why" content one can generate without going in circles, so it made sense to start to branch out. The British Board of Film Classification's policies, for example, are a concern of ours. So are online content filtration systems, be they legally- or industry-imposed; so are the laws springing up around the world which would create the web hentaiFREE wants: a "clean" one, where all of the content is written on the assumption that a child is reading -- and that a six-year-old's sensibilities are identical to a sixteen-year-old's. (BESS, anyone?)

We are beginning to develop our own non-H-debate content, as well (see the Hardsuit webzine overview). This is a long-term project.
